Congratulations to both Randy Jackson and Saara Greene who have both secured funding from CIHR to support their HIV/AIDS-based research.
Through CIHR's HIV/AIDS Community-Based Research Panel (Aboriginal Stream) and with co-investigators in the community, Saara has received an Operating Grant and is the principal investigator of "Stable Homes, Strong Families: Housing and Health for Aboriginal People Living with HIV and AIDS". Saara has received the full 3-year funding.
Randy, with colleagues from the University of Toronto and the Community, has been given a Catalyst Grant from the HIV/AIDS and Aboriginal Health Committee entitled "Exploring the Health and Wellnesssof Long-Term HIV-positive Two-Spirit Men in Ontario". Randy is also a co-investigator for "Stable Homes, Strong Families: Housing and Health for Aboriginal People Living with HIV and AIDS" with Saara Greene.
